FREE—School Groups (bands, cheerleaders, chess club, FBLA, etc.) In-kind Sponsorships are acceptable as well. For example, a company can host a school supply drive for the 3rd grade and raise 100 backpacks filled with grade appropriate school supplies (a value of $1500). That company has just sponsored the 3rd grade and has the privilege of being in the parade and has the first right to distribute the backpacks to the 3rd grade at the end of the parade. Equally, sponsorship of advertisement through radio, newspaper, TV, etc., for example, will equally qualify a business to participate in the parade. We really want people and companies to participate in the parade itself as well as the festivities. |
